Hi im from Jeffrey's bay south africa and have recently moved to Västerås.I need to connect with local surfers in Stockholm or surrounding areas to find some waves.i would be stoked to hear from anyone with info or who wants to connect for a surf!

Lylo, Welcome to sweden!!!!!! Fist of all I have to ask you why you left your world class homebreak and came to Sweden? I'm up north in Sollefteå and surf the gulf of bothnia. It delivers sometimes when the wind blows in the right direction. Most windy choppy conditions, and offshore winds are rare. But sometimes you can get those magic moments here in Sweden as well, but nothing compared to J bay.

It´ll probably be surf on saturday, at a beach 1 hr south of central Stockholm. You´re welcome to join. We drive from Stockholm, so you´ll need to get there first. You´ll need minimum 5 mm on your body, feet, hands, and a hoodie. I got some extra neoprene stuff for you to borrow to make your 4/3 a bit thicker. It´s probably about 5-7 C in the water. G'day mate I'm an aussie living in Östersund north of you..I usually surf with Jimmy S (see above)! You're welcome to come surf up in norrland with us anytime when it's on mate! hope you have a thick wetty cause the water is still really cold...it'll get warmer as the summer comes on but for now you're gunna probably need a hooded 5/4 gloves and boots down there I'd guess..
Hope you find some surfer mates in your area..(shouldn't be aproblem I'd guess ...)

Hi Lylo, I have a surfshop with a Cafe in Stockholm called 6/5/4 (www.654.se) Alot of surfers drink coffe, watch surfmovies and lie about the surf here. You should check it out if you want to hook up with some of the lcal crews.

Welcome to Sweden... Look for a Jamaican dude named Dwayne in Västerås. I hung out with him a couple years ago and we hit up the west coast and went to Norway together. He wasn't too stoked on the cold water, but might be good for a beer/surf memories sesh.
