Hi guys,

i'm going to be arriving to Sweden in August and was wondering if any of you could give me some tips on what sort of gear I will need to surf, how consistent the swell is, how big the waves etc. I'm currently living in South Africa so can get a 5mil wetsuit, but nothing thicker than that. What do you guys normally surf with, and can i buy gear in sweden or should i bring everything from overseas.

The second question, can one access most surf spots via train/bus etc, or do you need a car?

Bring boards and a good 4 mm wetsuit

where are u gonna live?
betwen gothenburg and halmstad on the westcoast, Gotland, Torö around Stockholm and southeast in Skåne is to prefer. for spots need more exact location. Good luck!
