Some surfing and some strapless kite surfing (Mitu & Neo Monteiro + Airton C + me), so a bit OT but still you can se some of the potential the island of Sal has got in store for all surfers.
If you just go like 20 min north west from St Maria you can also score awesome surf and no crowds as well! Ask for instance Vincent B about Palmiera:-)…
