Hi all - I publish a blog ( www.s-e-x-wax.com) that's into the kind of stuff most peole here are into. I'm looking for someone to give us a approx 600 word snapshot of the surf scene in Sweden that I can publish as part of a guest blogger section. You will be given credit for the piece of course and we'll be happy to link back to your own site or business.

In the UK & Ireland (where I'm originally from) - we think we are pretty hard men dealing with all that year round cold water, but you guys must be able to teach us something about cold water / winter surf. Most of the readership is from the Uk or the USA and to be honest, the Swedish surf scene is not something we hear anyhthing about. Accompanying pictures would be great and you can choose to reveal your identity or stay anonymous.

I don't remember who it was but some guy up north posted some photos from a session this winter. He had ice all over his board and even on his head and shoulders. He also had to change spot because there were to many ice-shelfs in the line-up. Afterwards he had a "semla" (a traditional swedish pastry) and went to tak a shower at his moms place.

I'm not saying this is representative for surfing in sweden but i thought i was kinda fun to read about.

Well, yea it is pretty radical, though it stands pretty weak comparing to the pic of that beach Bum you´ve got there.
