If you are in sydney then you have to go to toronga zoo..it's gotta be one of the worlds most beautiful zoo's...yeah it's a zoo but it's pretty fucken nice there..no cages at all...great views over sydney habour...you also have to go to Luna park and also get the ferry from circular quay to manly, go to the aquarium and the beach drink a few cold beers and have a feed at the steyne hotel and then get the ferry back..it's a great trip especially on a sunny summers day...it's worth a drive up the northern beaches as well..plenty of surf and really nice swimming....
On the way north there are sooo many really beautiful spots to stop and see..if you ask the tourist information centre in sydney they'll give ya all you need..maps tips etc and then you can go to each tourist info office at each stop and get the inside details from each area..there's heaps of small hidden beaches and waterfalls and walking tracks and so much to do that it could take you a month to get from sydney to byron without even trying...have fun you'll love it..it's a great country to travel in...peace from tha rat..
