The ISA Masters is a wonderful and exciting event as those of you who sent teams to Puerto Rico already know. The ISA is looking forward to an even better event with the addition of 2 new divisions, Grand Kahuna and Masters Women.
Teams and individual competitors will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Master, Grandmaster and Kahuna divisions will have a maximum of 32 competitors and Grand Kahuna and Masters Women will have a maximum of 16 competitors.
*Teams and individual competitors will only be considered confirmed and registered once payment has been received by the ISA for entry fees, ISA annual membership fees, and any past due fees.
Team size and divisions are as follows:
Master 35+ (2 competitors)
Grandmasters 40+ (2 competitors)
Kahuna 45+ (2 competitors)
Grand Kahunas 50+ (1 competitor)
Masters Women's 35+ (1 competitor)
*Ages are taken from January 1st in the year of participation.
Example: A Master surfer must be 35 years and older by January 1, 2008 in order to compete in 2008 in the Master division.
Entry fees are USD $175 per each team member, including managers and coaches, excluding judges. A surfer competing in more than one division is required to pay an Entry Fee for each division entered.
The official event invitation will be sent out soon and will include more detailed event information.
