holy holy crap. I didn't think that could possibly be sweden...I mean - there are quite clearly barrels at that spot. A decent wave! oh herregud. I'd give my eye for a barrel right now, even if it was a left.

Question: have you seen that wave do that on a few occasions? Picture 3 makes it look like the bottom is conducive to such waves, therefore those cylindrical water features may not actually be a fluke.

All I know is I want some.

Yeah I have seen that wave do that alot althought that was a better day cos it wasn't so windy. Not all waves do it in a set but normally the first or second in a new set other wise there is too much water on the reef, on the other hand the ones that don't suck out are more makeable.

fucken cool to actually see some quality pics of swedish tubes..have seen quite a few myself but we never seem to get photos..we are always in the water when it's best and we either just catch them or watch them break as we are paddling out..nice to look inside again..
the oce just settled on the coast up here yesterday so it's goodbye to surfing for at least 1-2 months for us in the baltic..

I ride a boogie so these are the waves I like to ride, more suited to my surfcraft and in the category of makeable. Pull in and enjoy the view regardless. I had thought snowboarding was doing an okaayyy job filling the gap of surfing in my life until I saw these pics. These pics are the best evidence I've seen of decent waves in this country. Better than in either of the mags. I've seen a couple of waves barrel on the south west coast but nothing that has a consistent take off spot like that wave looks like it has...listen to me I'm frothing at the mouth!

Frig I'd love a hint as to the location, but I probably wouldn't give it, so I wouldn't expect it either!
