harder than it looks. But worth the effort. so much fun and faster than other boards. It's like learning to surf all over again.

by the way check out the other video "Handplane" by cyrus. I've been using those for 20 years or so. super easy to make. When I was shaping at Victoria in Laguna Beach I would take the excess foam that was cut away from the board blanks and shape these little fish-shape or pin-tail hand boards, add straps, glass them and go boadysurf. they add alot of extra planing lift and speed , even faster paddling. Time to start making them again, probably in wood this time. I have some extra paulownia that Tom Wegener sent me with my alaia.
