Getting some waves in Portugal first week of September and wanted to see if anyone had any tips for making the most of the area, i have sussed out the wave situation and am freakin excited about that but also wanted to know any good restaurants, things to must see, which surfshop has the friendliest crew etc, and if you know any sweet spot thats not so well known then thats a bonus to. You will have a good trip.
It might be over crowded in the two main bays since most of Europe still is there. If it works south of Supertubos or north of Lagide then go there. If it´s only the bay that works check ouyt the middle of it. (Meia baha)
For surfshop "58" between Peniche and Baleal is super. Both the people the stuff they carry and the café is top notch.
Visit Obidos medieval town. You have an excellent Italian rest. in the harbour of Peniche. ( First place after the roundabout.
