i got a picture sent to my email about a year ago from a friend,
it turned out that the picture wasn't from where he said it was from..
i put the picture in surfsverige because i thought it was from the place he said it was from..(the wave is the same but i was very unsure about the water colour in the picture..)
it turned out to be a fake..it was from norway!

i admit to this mistake..it was not done with intention to deceive....

BUT..certain people have used this as ammunition to undermine my integrity as being capable of leading the swedish surf team into the next european championships!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this............ i don't like...and definitely will not accept as a reason to dampen the energy that is building up to the event!

for the first time in history...SWEDEN has a team of surfers that have a chance a making a mark in the european surf scene and i want you all to support it !!!!!!!!!!!!

fuck the picture.....get with the ssa..surfing...and surfsvrige and heja sverige...

Dont bother about the pic. I was sure the pic was from the same place you have shown pics earlier on surfsverige.
Anyway I cant see anyone else being a teamcaptain for the swedish team then you!

Why? Because you started to surf when most of the people here were still sipping milk from the titt.

All I wanna say is keep on what youre doing and maybe Sweden will be on the map even if we dont have the waves out ther every day!

Tror han kommer bli en grymt bra teamcaptain med ett surfstoke som teamet kommer att behöva och få nytta av, har alldrig trott att han inte skulle vara kapabel att leda teamet varken före eller efter den där bilden.
Men som sagt i bildens hetta så gick det för långt från min sida och komentaren var dum..

mate,you know how it is...tall poppy syndrome,you go out on a limb to make something good happen,or you excel more than the mediocre theres always some rightious prick who wants to bring you down,jealousy,one upmanship,just being billigerent.....these crew should take a looooong look in the mirror.
keep up the good work bro,there are some some good surfers in sweden,let there talents shine and f..k those that have to put a negative spin on everything,maybe they should pull there heads in.

Just to pit the lid on this, i want to say that i appreciate all the things you guys write...i realize everything got bigger than it needed to be..no sweat..

We are going to have a ball in Jersey and shit on a few of the boys that think swedes can't surf i can tell you!!!

I wanted you to know that i met GAZZER and ESTA on friday!!!!..(I've met esta once before, he's a swedish legend!)

GAZZER was a really nice guy...super friendly and we had a cool time in really good surf and for anyone who doesn't know..esta carves on a longboard!!!!!!

After the surf we sat around the fire they had set up and listen to guitar and the boys drank pernot together..it was unreal..the only regret i had was that we didn't camp over with them..the plan had actually been to stay over but it didn't work out---

It was really cool to meet ya gazzer...and cool to see you again esta my friend.....peace and stay chilled....peace and thanks for the company in what was pretty good surf !!!! da ratB)
