Hej yo, are there any other bodyboarders out there who can give me some advice.. How do you get the boot- fin combination to work in the winter or the colder months? Does one wear thick socks without soles or with and a larger fin size? or what.. Ive tried booties with soles and cut up my fins to try and make them fit.. but didnt really work.. got some tips? oh yeah.. and where do you get your stuff from? I can only seem to find bodyboarding stuff in other parts of europe.. ie. france- england..

It's really hard to fit booties inside proper fins, they just have too much bulk in the sole. My solution is warm socks inside a gore-tex sock, then inside a thin neoprene (1mm?) fin sock. It works allright but not great, water eventually gets in.

I use quiksilvers 5mm round toe booties and bought fins one size up, i found the manta propels to be among the wider models ( i use size large). They sit quite snuggly, maybe a bit too much so. It helps to go in once in a while every hour or so to walk around and get blood back to the toes. Getting gear in sweden isn't easy, I get my stuff via relos back in melbourne. Where you from ozduckman? -if oz i'd say get your relos to post u stuff, otherwise try international ebay shops, there seem to be a few in england. If your in stockholm we should go for a sesh sometime.

It's been a while... The Mike Stewart Science board has worked pretty good the few times I've used it. A bit big but I'm only getting bigger I actually got a barrel at a place that doens't really tube that often. OZDuckman I know a great place here on the west coast that is probably a better wave for sharkbisquits than for standup boards, tons of barrel potential with the right wind (offshore)!

sounds unreal, im there.. 0737836645.. give us a bell if your heading out.. im in Gbg.. I got a little barrel the other day.. quite nice and a little sucky.. but short.. i was plesently suprised for sweden.. but I havn't had much swedish experience in the water as yet..
