Let me tell you a story ........... the first time we flew down we had called Pedro's shop and made some basic arrangements - I was also conserned about the transfer and asked the girl working at Pedros shop at the time if they could arrange that - she said "there will ba a car waiting for you when you arrive." Cool.
(Ben from Flagbeach on Fuerta had sent a mini van for us on a previous trip)
So we arrive at the airport in the afternoon, start out looking for our pickup - back and forth we check here, there and everywhere...... No one holding one of those cards with "Gaz da man" or ANYTHING!!!
WTF!?!? We decide tocall the shop and ask what's the deal..... ring, ring......... "Hello Famara SurfShop" - yeah this is Gerrie, where's our pickup - we don't see anyone waitng for us here at the airport. A short silence follows then a rather polite, "Look, this is Lanzarote, just take any fucking taxi, OK?"
So we did .....
As long as you're booked into accomidation with Pedro at Famara he will be awake and show you to the apartment - many of the flights come quite late and they are used to that by now..... Saludos!! //Gaz
