A good allround shortboard, those waves aren't generally as hollow as indo and relatively easy to catch, a shortboard doesn't necessarily have to be as short as you can ride, they can be proportionately bigger. Get a board with maybe a rounded tail, and carve those waves up! If you want more details, I am going to need more info, how much you weigh, how tall you are how long you have surfed and the exact dimensions of the boards you ride as well as how well/poor you think they float you.- If it is a 'quiver' board as you specified, than you can make it your travel shape,
For reference, I ride 6'0" x 18 3/8" x 2 1/4" (I am 173 and weigh 74kilos) If I were to get a board for the Maldives, it'd be 6'3" x 18 3/8" x 2 1/4", single concave, soft forward edges (no catch while carving) and a decent rocker. the tail would be a rounded pintail
I should get paid for this
